General Information

At MANTEIO, each watch is made to order. We are a small independent brand and therefore, depending on the demand we face, the waiting time to produce your ordered timepiece may vary. Yet, we are committed to transparency and straightforward communications with our collectors. Right after receiving your order confirmation, we will, within a few weeks, be able to provide you with a scheduled production month. We will then keep you updated quarterly. As soon as we are meeting your production month, our team will inform you about your exact manufacturing week. They will also inform you when your watch is in its final assembly stage. Currently, we would need approximately 12 months to craft this model.

Placement of your order

Most of our timepieces are made on request. This means that there will be a waiting time between the moment you order your watch and the time we will deliver it, as we must manufacture it first. Therefore, to confirm your order, a deposit representing approximately 40% of the final price is required to confirm your interest.

As soon as your deposit is executed, we will send you an advance payment receipt and an order confirmation. It is your responsibility to review the order confirmation. If you have any questions or concerns or if an order confirmation does not reflect your intentions, you should contact us at info@manteio.ch without delay. Within 6 months of the Order Confirmation Date we will inform you about the tentative manufacturing date that we have allocated to your order.

Your manufacturing date is the date we proceed to the final encasing of your watch. Once this operation is completed, your watch will be tested for a couple of weeks. Therefore, you can expect a delivery 3 to 4 weeks after your manufacturing date.

Refund of the deposit

Should you change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days, we will refund the full amount.

If you decide to cancel your order later, part of your deposit will no longer be refundable according to the following scale:

After 14 days, your deposit minus 10% and inherent banking fees is refunded,
6 months before your manufacturing date: 40% of your deposit minus inherent banking fees is refunded,
3 months before your manufacturing date: your deposit is forfeited.

To cancel your order, you must contact us at the email-adress from which you have recieved the order confirmation.

We try our best to respect your manufacturing date but delays sometimes occur due to circumstances outside our control. A delay of 6 months or more with respect to the tentative manufacturing date does not entitle to a refund without penalty

Product availability and order acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of serious doubt about the customer's compliance with these terms and conditions, or in the event of payment arrears. All orders placed are subject to availability and our acceptance. Quantity limits may apply for certain products, and we reserve the right to refuse, at any time and without prior notice, orders that exceed a predefined number of units per customer.

Customers who place their orders early will have the opportunity to request their preferred number on the numbered timepieces. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all customers will receive their desired number, as these will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Price, return and tax policy

All prices displayed on this website, in any MANTEIO documents or in any communication support (email, whatsapp messages, phone) are not contractual and can be modified at any time. Only quotes or order acknowledgements (order confirmation) issued by MANTEIO GmbH are contractual. The relevant prices are our international prices in CHF and do not include any taxes and shipping fees. We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds for products purchased via our website. This does not affect your consumer rights in respect of defective products.

Please note that changes to applicable law between the date your order is placed and the date you are sent a written quote or an order confirmation may result in changes to the taxes associated with your order. If the resulting change is an increase in the taxes that you are charged, we will contact you and ask that you to reconfirm your order.

Shipping

Once your watch is ready, we will contact you to arrange delivery. We offer worldwide shipping to most destinations.

You also have the option of picking up your timepiece in Switzerland directly with Alex Goetschi. In some cases, it may also be possible for Alex to deliver the watch to you in person. If this is something you are interested in, feel free to let us know during the order process.

Shipping costs and insurance related to the watch purchase are included in the final price stated in your quote or order confirmation. This does not include any services, accessories, or repairs not covered by our international warranty.
